|New Content Outline for the CPTC Examination Effective July 1, 2016||4/5/2016|
ABTC’s CPTC Examination Committee conducted a job analysis study in 2014. As a result of the study, the CPTC Examination Committee will roll out an examination with a new content outline July 1, 2016. ABTC conducted this job analysis to identify critical content for the certification examination and form a new set of specifications for the examination. You may find the new detailed content outline by clicking here. Committee members from regions across the country and various practice setting were represented on the job analysis committee.
Along with the new examination content, a new self-assessment examination for the CPTC has been developed and is now available for purchase.

|ABTC Achieves NCCA Accreditation||1/5/2013|

From January 2015 through December 2015, a total of 430 took the ABTC Certification Examinations. 180 took the CCTC examination, 132 individuals or 73.3% passed the CCTC examination. Of the 133 who took the CPTC examination, 97 or 72.9% successfully completed the examination. There were 69 who attempted the CCTN examination, where 58 or 84.1% passed the examination. The CTP Examination tested 48 candidates in 2015, 45 or 93.8% successfully completed the examination.
All test forms were assembled by the American Board for Transplant Certification respective examination committees, with technical psychometric assistance provided by Applied Measurement Professionals, Inc. (AMP).
By the end of 2015, over 2600 professionals currently hold ABTC Certifications. The number of individuals who hold ABTC certification is as follows:
